it looks kinda pretty but it's lacking a lot of detail and you need to still spend hours on it getting it to look good. I think you cut some corners because the map is big. Then the sector layout looks a bit crap, invest some time in drawing them following some map features. Onkel sam also allready pointed out that the vp's near the bases are completely useless, again he's absolutely right and you might aswell drop those too. In my opininion you should just get rid of the water and bridges all together. Allied players will always win on a map layed out like this. Like onkel sam I think it's unwise to have an 8player map with bridges like that. This post has been edited by vyvjala: Nov 3 2008, 19:20 PM This map has been heavily play-tested for both balance and game issues. The year is 1945 and the Americans are tasked with pushing through the town and eliminating the German resistance there before assaulting the base and destroying all German occupation. German bridges are wired with explosives and one of their flanks is mined - but there are markers to identify the area. The Americans start in a wooded area to the North near an industrial district and the Germans begin in the South in a heavily fortified base for which this map is named. The playable area is rectangular in shape and as such, longer than it is wide. Each side has at least two large bridges and a footbridge to the mainland. Both armies must cross open areas and then bridges on their sides of the map before reaching the urban area. The center of the map is divided by a railroad that also serves as a territory disconnect point. The American and German bases are separated by an undamaged town. Expect strong resistance and booby traps, the Germans know a battle will ensue. The death camp masks a heavily fortified secret base. Build:ğriday, October 24, 2008, 3:18:02 PMĪllies are winning the war, but this hidden and unscathed German base still blocks their path to victory.
